Do you remember my “Saturday Critters”? I supose you don’t! My last post was months ago. You can see it here: Saturday critters – Nuthatch(Scortarul in romanian language)
Today I start this again! I want to show you a bird that seems to feel good on my balcony. It comes often and stays on the balustrade. I think it has a nest somewhere in the block where I live. It impressed me and you can see why. It has only one leg. This bird is known as the Eurasian jackdaw and it is a sociable, intelligent, adaptable bird. The jackdaw is the second-smallest member of the Corvus genus.
Western jackdaws are very talkative birds. Perched birds often chatter together, and before settling for the night, large roosting flocks make a cackling noise.

How amazing nice post. heheh…
This was a very interesting poll
How cool and that is sad only one leg but it happens. They adapt. Never seen ease before. Like these posts my friend.
What a lovely and interesting blog, great photos. What a shame he only has one leg. But it seems he is managing quite well without the other one.
