Saturday Critters – It's bath time!

The greatest joy of ducks is diving into the water, and my greatest joy is to watch them! She dives into the water, fluttered her wings and spreads a lot of water around her. You’ve probably wondered why ducks don’t get wet when they dive into the water. Well, at the top of the duck’s tail is a gland that secretes a wax-like substance. Ducks spend a lot of time caring for feathers, carefully spreading this substance all over the feathers. The substance gives the feathers impermeability.

It is worth capturing this moment and share it with all of you and with Saturday Critters Challenge!
