These colorful creatures are common in the garden and in open spaces with greenery. I never fail to see how these creatures blend with their surroundings. We used to have a lot of lizards of various colors running around in the vacant plot next to our home, but now the owner has finally built a high wall around it and we don’t see too many of these lizards around.
I also love to see how these creatures stand like statues when you suddenly appear on the scene and watch you from their perch. Invariably because of their camouflage you may not even realize that there is a creature there. I like this stone like garden lizard which looked like the rock it was sitting on.
I am glad to see a few of my pending posts seeing the light of day after four days, I had almost given up hope of seeing them. I had stopped writing after three days.

We do not have garden lizards in our country. I see it for the first time.

I’ve seen them on walls where it’s sunny and warm.
True Lacho59 they do love to lazily doze in sunny spots.
I am not the biggest fan of lizards, but this one looks really cute! I rarely see lizards because they are even more scared of me than I am of them, haha.
LOL these ones here are quite brave they couldn’t care less to hide when you are around.

Yeah they are quite helpful in the garden. But they scare some people out of their minds I have noticed.

my wife jumps when she sees them. In Thailand, she was jumping constantly!!!!
Great photo and love that lizard. I have a very tiny lizard that comes into my room occasionally and climbs up my walls.

Cool photo. I only see the small green or brown lizards in the garden.
We have a few plain brown ones here as well.
