I captured these two Mockingbird babies in my yard this past spring. They were just leaving the nest in my smoke bush in the front. Most nests are in the backyard. This one caught me off guard.
I had to be quick as the aggressive parents were closeby to protect them. Nature has a lot to offer. You have to stop and look around. If not you could be missing a lot.
I saw many more nests in my yard this past spring than usual. It was very exciting. I was thankful to see babies such as these mockingbirds I captured. Enjoy the moments life has given you!

I do not have a yard…you are lucky. You have taken a great picture.
in Indiana, we had baby cardinals every year.
haven’t seen any in Maryland, other than the wonderful shares you’ve made!
How special. I have never seen cardinals yet but I know they were in the yard, the parents kept them well hidden.
i actually saw a RObin yesterday in the yard across the street so I gave you bad information. I wouldn’t have seen it if you hadn’t posted your picture!
What adorable looking birds. Back in Latvia I sometimes had a yard full of birds
They really are. Too bad they grow up to be aggressive birds. But mockingbirds have a good side. They can mock many sounds, any birds they hear. Amazing.
That’s such a cute capture! The babies are adorable.
Thanks, I got lucky with this one, the mockingbirds are aggressive.
Super shot. I don’t see young birds near me.
Thanks I enjoy seeing all of the birds.
They’re beautiful as always
I have to agree, good to see you!
What the lovely view, they are so cute.
Thanks, they made my day to see.
Very beautiful picture, my dear friend
Thanks Lado, it was in my front yard.
You’re lucky to see so many beautiful birds … I don’t know how they all went away with us?
