I meet them again on Friday on my way to my native village. It’s amazing how much they change from week to week. Their feathers grew and their beak began to turn yellow. One of them flew not far from the nest, on a high voltage pole. The other two remained in the nest, watching closely what was happening around them. Interestingly, they are not all as big and strong. One of them has already managed to fly, the second manages to stand and the third tried to get up but failed to stand on his feet.
I fell in love with them and I can’t wait to see them again next Friday!

They are adorable! 🙂 I love them!
What a wonderful photo. So cute the baby stork. Back in Latvia out in the country you could see stork nests high up on wooden light poles and occasionally a little head peeing out.
Thank you, Sandra! I am in love with them!🙂
What lovely birds! Did you know that here, storks are traditionally the ones to deliver new (human) babies to their mothers?
Yes I know! Storks deliver new babies to mothers in Romania, too!🙂
What a cool experience. I know nothing about these birds. Love the photo.
I discovered many things I didn’t know, looking through the camera lens! Thank you, Carol!
