The Krka is one of the most well-maintained rest areas in Europe. The resting place Krka stands on the left bank of the Krka River where the bridge connects two coasts, on the walls from which the view of Lake Prokljan, the Velebni Bridge, the Krka river and the town of Skradin opens. The resting place offers a shop, a currency exchange, a buffet restaurant, a cafe bar, a children’s playground, and many other small details. Whenever I return from vacation, I stop at this resting place. I drink coffee and eat some good cake, and I enjoy a wonderful view. I also looked at the statue of Mary, whom they placed at a resting place in order to protect drivers and travelers. Many people stop and light a candle. I saw something that for the first time.
