When you slice open a watermelon in the summer months, you see the juicy red meat of the watermelon. I don’t know about you but I love watermelon in the summer. It’s a great treat, snack or even light lunch! I’m going to try to grow some this summer. They grow well in my area and I’m hoping for some beginner’s luck!

i love watermelon! Maryland doesn’t do well growing them, but new jersey does!
I didn’t know they grew at all up north, so I learned something!
it does grow very well, Indiana, in particular the Wabash River valley, are famous!
It is the season here for watermelon. Yours looks real and tempting.
Ours won’t be ready until around May in my area! Lucky that they are grown here! Enjoy!!
