Psychological books

David R. Hawkins “The pathway of surrender”

A great book for those who often experience anger, fears, anxiety, guilt, aggression, helplessness. For those who have a hard time forgiving as well as those who are very keen to change others.

In the book, the author draws on research and personal insights, analyzes many useful topics (fears, egoism, stress, guilt, values, etc.), raises questions, and then answers them. There is a lot of talk about emotions, their origins and how to release them.

In Hawkins’s opinion, a person is not how he feels (for example, if you feel guilty does not necessarily mean that you are guilty), so it is important to separate yourself from negative emotions.

At the beginning of the book, the author wrote that the theories he presented were suitable for both believers and atheists. I still disagree. It mentions karmas, chakras, energy and similar things that have nothing to do with Christianity. In any case, it does not prevent you from reading the book and reaping the rewards. With certain points aside, the book is definitely worthy of attention.
