This is my picture which able to be seen in my profile. Do you know why I put this picture there?
It’s because I did a D.I.Y for my daughter’s white shoes when she was 5. White is too plain, but white schools which is the formal school shoes have plenty of choice, and very comfortable.
Thus, I bought the white shoes for her, but made her some decorations on the top. She prefer to put one each instead of a pair…see? Isn’t fun?

It is hard to determine sometimes if the time is worth more than the savings. Some times there are no savings at all, and still it is nice to “make” a gift for someone.
I am all about DIY, either due to budgetary constraints or the thing I want doesn’t exist so I have to kitbash to get what I want…

Yeah, me to due to the thing doesn’t exist nicely or budget constraints too.
Kitbashing is when you take parts from two or more different things and then frankenstein them together, as opposed to building the whole thing from scratch…
New Zealand has had to be DIY due to the isolation but it means a lot to someone if you do it yourself.
