Pink or red Geranium?

I have two pots with geranium, one with pink flowers  and one with red flowers.I remember the red geranium from the window of my mother’s house. Red as fire! My mother was growing it because, she said, it is a flower that drives us out of our sadness and fills us with optimism.

Also, my mother used to use the leaves, flowers, and red rosettes for various diseases. I remember she used dry leaves, soaked with boiling water, applying them on old wounds until they healed.As for me … I just enjoy the beauty of thesec flowers  as much as the beauty of my other flowers.
