Photo of the day: Catching a frog

A couple of years ago I started the 365 Photos Challenge. The goal is to post one recent photo a day for 365 days.

After a few months, however, I stopped uploading photos due to my very slow and unreliable internet connection.

By the time I was able to switch provider I got busy writing on another site.  It was only a few months ago that I returned to become active in Virily, although I still don’t submit a post everyday.

Now that Virily seems to have improved in speed plus I have a better camera-phone, I feel like posting at least one photo every day again

I’m not jumping back to restart my 365 photos challenge, but my goal is the same. Post at least one photo every day.

To start with, the photo is of my 5-year old son holding his catch of the day last Tuesday.

We went to do a small ‘adventure’ in our backyard looking for insects and small animals.

I saw grab something on the grass. I asked what it was, he exclaimed,

” I caught a bulldog!”

We spent a short time venturing in the backyard but he was.so happy he already caught a frog.

I remember my childhood days that I used to catch frogs also. But most of the folks says that the pee of the frog can cause blindness. I’m not sure if it is true, but I tell the same to my son so he won’t hold the frog on front of his face.

Maybe I will send the photo to his favorite blogger Cayote Peterson of the Breaking Wild/ Breaking Trail.
