Photo 200212: Counting Practice

I mentioned in this post that I like to engage my kids in real life learning or practice. It’s even better if they initiate the learning themselves.

My youngest son shows interest in numbers and counting lately. Whenever he sees any numbers, he likes to read them. Sometimes when I mentioned he’s eaten 4 biscuits, then he’d say it’ll be 5 very soon. One day, he helped me to put the eggs into the fridge. While he was putting the eggs, he kept counting the eggs too. He just likes to do this work lately even though I didn’t ask him to do so and I am actually a bit worried about it, he seemed to have so much fun.

I am always amazed at how kids learn and grow, even though I didn’t officially teach him anything yet. Perhaps young kids have really good observation.
