Photo 200109: Pyramid Tea bag

There are many teabags and tea leaves sitting on my shelf in the kitchen, hence I am trying to consume them as soon I can now. Some might be sitting there for too long.

A friend gave me a pack of Caramel Apple Black Tea last year. There are these tetrahedron or pyramid-shaped tea bags inside. I find these pyramid tea bags prettier and neater.

I just read that the pyramid tea bags were invented by PG Tips in 1996. The shape looks like a mini teapot, and it allows the tea leaves to move more freely. There are some benefits of using pyramid tea bags though I am not sure if they are really environmental friendly. I usually buy tea leaves, but not tea bags, though having tea bags seem to be more convenient.
