Ghostwriter
Here I am at the pharmacy again. I fairly comfortable here. It takes quite a while to get all the medication and forms filled out, so I bring a notebook and write. Most of the times it’s some kind of grocery list or to list. There is always more to do.
Today a person whom I have never seen before to the best of my recollection said “Do you know Brené Brown?”
“No, are you looking for that person? The pharmacy staff might know.”
She smiled and handed a pack of 3×5 cards and went marching off with the clickety clack of her heels.
“The pharmacist called me up and helped me with all the paperwork and said “I see our friend gave you a gift.”
“I guess. She asked if I knew someone and I did not and handed me some cards. I put them in my backpack.”
“She did the same to me yesterday. I wonder if the cards are the same.”
“Well I will check them out. You know you will see me tomorrow, another day another medication. Wouldn’t it be nice if they could all arrive on the same day for all of us?”
She put on her most cheerful face and said, “We’d miss you.”
“Oh I almost forgot here’s your fudge. Don’t forget to share with the others.”
(I am not sure they would miss me, but I am certain they would miss the treats.)

I usually go to a pharmacy where the staff are very friendly and can advise as well.
Maybe you could use mail order pharmacy? Costco offers a free service, you do not have to be a member to order free shipping meds from them.
Living in the middle or nowhere is kind of different. I was hoping we could use amazon, but because of his paperwork and complication of how many medications he has to take we have found no one who can deliver and do the paper work that is needed.
It was a great idea and I hope others might read your suggestion and find it useful.
I would love to know more about the cards. What they mean, what their message is. Perhaps a way forward?
I will do that, perhaps even today.

How are you? Some of your recent posts have given me considerable concern. This one – with the line about “not sure if they would miss me” – is another sign that worries me.
I am picking up hints. When someone says that they have just collected a lot of pills, I take that as a hint.
Please reassure your friends on Virily that you do not have in mind the thing that I fear. Otherwise, you really need to talk with people who will listen.
You told me I couldn’t’ speak about it here and so I shall not.
