Love ItLove It

One Pan

If I can make something in one pan that everyone will eat and enjoy it becomes an instant  favorite on my to cook list. I do enjoy pork chops and I prefer bone in because I feel like it gives it more flavor.

So last evening this is what I did with our pork chops. First I put the pork chops in and cooked them for about seven minutes. Then it was time to add my broth and vegetables. I love a colorful meal, so I used carrots that were cut in one inch chunks, small purple potatoes halved, four onions quartered,  one russet potato quartered, and one sweet potato quartered.  I put the lid on and let them cook until the vegetables are tender. I add a splash of green parsley over the top and I let my family plate it themselves with what they enjoy.

It’s quick easy and in one pan.

  1. The meal you made in one pan sounds lovely. There’s lots you can do in one pan. I had a curry today. It’s just the rice that needed cooking separately, but I did that in the microwave.
