According to a study, adding bananas and other potassium-rich foods to your diet can greatly benefit your health.
University of Alabama researchers found that eating bananas every day can help prevent heart attacks and strokes.
The study, which aimed to determine how mineral potassium affects blood flow and artery health, looked at mice that were given a diet containing low, normal or high levels of potassium.
Overall, rats that received a low potassium diet had much harder arteries than their peers. The rats that received high levels of potassium, on the other hand, showed significantly less hardening of the arteries and reduced stiffness in the aorta as well.

I can do one banana a day but only if my kids remember to bring some home when they go grocery shopping.
That’s good to know – I just ate a banana yesterday
I love bananas and I eat them pretty often.
I do not eat bananas but almonds or nuts regularly ..
All of us at home cannot start our day without bananas, that is including the dogs LOL . But what is in the picture with the bananas?
banana is a staple. I miss the Monkey Bananas of Southeast ASIA!
I believe those Monkey Bananas from Asia taste better than the ones we buy at the supermarket.
i agree we can’t get them in the US, too much sugar to ship! (they spoil very fast).
Oh I love banana’s. I usually try to have 1 banana a day.
I love bananas and I also try to eat one every day. Thank you!
