Oct 5: World Teachers’ Day

I am not a teacher and I am not a student anymore, I just knew about this from Udemy as they are running World Teachers’ Day sales now.

World Teachers’ Day is held every year on October 5 since 1994. This year, the theme of the celebration is “Young Teachers: The future of the Profession”. I think it’s good to show our appreciation to the teachers, and encourage the young teachers to continue dedicate their hearts and knowledge to the younger generations.

By the way, we celebrate Teachers’ Day on May 16 in Malaysia.

  1. I keep in touch with a couple of my teachers, I make sure my boys keep in touch with their teachers. Just today we were at a social gathering and my son saw his teacher and went up to talk to her. She was so thrilled to hear how well is doing and

  2. Thank you!!! It is wonderful that you acknowledged this day. Teachers are forgotten so often in our world.

My father was a teacher for his entire working life.
I was a teacher for a while (the call of technology was too great). But I still celebrate every teacher!
