Our fruit trees are famous for bumper crops, year in and year out But this, what you see, I could say was the ‘ mother of all bumpers’.
Those are petals of the bell fruit flowers strewn densely on the ground a first time here at Solitiaire.
You can imagine what followed. There were countless fruits and most importantly squirrels and birds made this tree their home for quite a few months.
The fruits have delicate stems and the nimble feet of birds and squirrels were enough to drop those fruits down creating another great carpet on the floor.

I hear about this fruit for the first time. It looks like it’s snowing.
It looked like falling snow when that happened
Another new fruit to learn about.
We get much too much of this.
Interesting fruit, dear Grace … I’ve never seen it eaten before
Seems like it grows only in this part of the world.
probably growing only in the tropics
Never seen such fruits before ………………
I am sure if you look around you will see it.
I have never seen or heard of these. Thanks for the education.
There are so many fruits that are native. You too must be having such fruits.
I love the fruits, but I prefer it on summer because not it’s juice.
I have never seen these before but would love to try them. What kind of flavour do they have? Do they have a sharp taste or sweet?
They have a mild flavour and are sweet. Kind of thirst quenchers.
