This tree is supposedly a 150 years old. It covers acres of land as the banyan trees grows from its aerial roots. It is a beautiful sight to see in the tropical regions where this tree grows. They also grow from seeds that are part of the bird droppings.
Birds, squirrels, monkeys and bats loves these fruits. You would find a wide variety of birds where there are banyan trees. The huge branches make a great cool, place for birds to nest, the fruits make sweet, nutritious food and the thick foliage often keeps them safe from predators.
I love sitting under this tree and reading books. Its a cool and quite place to spend the day outdoors in the hot summer months.

I’ve never seen this tree before, my friend … it’s really huge
But there maybe other huge, old trees shady trees there I guess.
However, such huge trees do not grow … they are big just not that way
Okay , I understand.
Here in Spain, especially in Alicante, there are many such trees. You can see some of them in my archives here on virily.
Oh wow! I should take a look sometime.
We don’t have this type of trees here, I wish I could spend some time under on of those!
Such pure refreshment in natures lap.
We have a similar tree in Kolkotta. I have been there and we had a picnic under there. There is a road between this tree as it has spread over acres of land.
Must be lovely, but this tree has its roots pretty close , we have only walking path under it and roads around it.
