My daily picture – Stray dog

Dogs are men’s best friends, and this has not only been known, but has also been proven in many ways. They are loyal beings and always able to love, no matter how they are treated. How many times have we heard of dogs that have returned to seek their owners even after being beaten or abandoned? And perhaps the most impressive cases are those in which the owner dies, but the dog does not cease to stay in the place where he knows his master’s body is.

Despite these qualities, there are many dogs that do not have a home. I’ve never been able to understand why people are abandoning dogs. They can become a real problem if they are left on the streets or in parks. It is a real problem with stray dogs in my town and there are still no solutions to solve it. They can be seen all over in the town.

Look at this wonderful dog! I found him in Chindia Park. I wonder who abandoned him. We have many dogs in the park but this is new arrived in the area. It was the first time I saw him.

  1. Very good shot, also like making such photos!!! The problem of stray dogs also exists in my hometown, the groups of them (by 3-5 animals) can be found everywhere – in the city centre and in the suburbs. Apparently, no one wants to deal with this problem.

  2. I was almost tempted to call out for “Tasha” (my dear departed sweet dog) when I saw that beautiful dog in your picture. Of course, there are some slight differences between your poser and my Tasha, but the face in general looks the same. I agree, it is too bad that this beautiful specimen of a man’s best friend is a stray. Don’t you have an animal control or animal protective agency in your town that can catch the strays, put them in a kennel and, vaccinate them, feed them and then put them up for adoption. Or is it that the dogs are overwhelming the town or city? Here in the Ottawa Valley, it is more the cats that we have several strays of. We do have dogs, but not too many that I know of.
