This is one of the photos I took yesterday in my mother’s in law garden. It is a flower similar to violet, but it has a different color. It is also much taller than the violets I have seen so far and the leaves are slightly different.
When the difference between what you know and what is seen with the naked eye is too big, there is a problem that makes you ask questions. Why does this flower look different than I know it? Is the same flower?
It’s like when a person wants to look different than he is in reality and you’re wondering why!?
Appearances sometimes cheat; the sheep in front of you may be a disguised wolf…

Is that a violet?
-
Yes
-
No

If you say so, how can I contradict you!
You’re totally wrong! I see you exactly the way you want to be seen!?
I am not ironic! I said what I think!
Wonderful macro capture!!!!
Viola tricolor and Viola odorata share the same last name: they’re sisters who don’t look alike, but they come from the same family.
Lovely photo! ??
Thank you! I remember that! I think they are sister in law!?
what a wonderful macro capture!
Thank you very much, Doc!
Whether it is a violet or not, one thing I’m sure, it is incredibly beautiful. So should I ask too, is that because you are truly a skillful photographer or the subject is just beautiful?
Could it be both? A beautiful flower captured by a skilled photographer !???
It looks like a violet to me.
It is similar but not violet. It’s wild pansy.
Thank you for correcting me about the wild pansy.
you tell me, I know little of botany…
Thank you for making me research to find out what it is !! I just found out that it is the progenitor of the cultivated pansy, and is therefore sometimes called wild pansy.?
good for you! I need to do some research myself
I don’t know what it is, and I like it.
It is a beautiful flower, like any flower we find in nature.
It looks like a violet to me my friend. Beautiful!
I just found out that it is not violet!
I love flowers, but there are very few I could tell you the names.
I do not even know their names, that is why I asked for help!
I can’t really tell … I’m not so sure about colour terms … :/
I just found out that it is wild pansy.
