For two weeks or more it has been raining everyday, I have hardly been able to watch the sunrise or the sunset. The fiery skies, the glow from the aftermath of the sun, the clouds edged in gold with the suns rays have all gone missing from my horizon.
That doesn’t mean I don’t like the rain. We need the rain to replenish our water sources. Our water tables are drying up and we need more rains. Rains means cleaner air and greener trees.
The heart does grow fonder in the absence of something. I miss my evening walks too. The road is too slushy and uninviting. So I choose to sit and watch the grey skies and the sheets of rain as they come down without too much drama.

Wonderful picture … I don’t like rain even though I know it’s badly needed
Rain is messy, yeah but we really need it.
I do not like rain because in rainy weather my mood is not good.
Oh no, so the weather does change your mood.
Many times lately we have had rain and no sunset.
Do you miss the sunsets Carol DM?
The same grace situation is with me
Lovely, if you can see the sunset everyday.
Our house faces the East and I can watch the sunrise right from our door But sometimes the clouds covers it
That is lovely, our earlier home used to face the East and watching the sunrise used to be an enjoyable experience.
Lately I have not been able to watch sunrise and sunset. The photo is great with this dramatic sky.
Is it could and raining there too?
I have a weather station and records sunrise and sunset in video. I never miss one, but sometimes I watch them later!
Wow ! that’s cool. You really mean you have a weather station?
yes it is a video weather station that times time-lapse video of the sky throughout the day.
