Continuing with Kim’s June Challenge about Happiness. We all should join in on this one and share what makes us happy. I have so many things I will share only one thing today. Memories. If you lose someone dear to you, you have memories. Hopefully good ones. I am so grateful of the Dustin memories I have, as well as other family members of course. But without memories I would struggle to survive. I believe that. That is what keeps me going. Gives me hope. And that is where I find true happiness. Remembering the good times. It is not something to take lightly. I have known those who, after losing loved ones, have lost their mind. No memories, nothing. Very sad. I am very thankful I have survived and have memories.
Dustin used to ride this little 3-wheeler all over the yard with his little stuffed animal. Thank you for allowing me to share a memory.
Forever Loved. Forever in my Heart.

Thank you for your continued support and comments.
Just like my vacation with my one daughter. The visit was short but sweet. Memories are what can hold our hearts together.
Indeed, I could not survive with out my sweet memories.
I’m with you, Carol. The memories of those we’ve loved and lost live forever in our hearts and bring them back to us when we most need to remember them.
I know you understand Barbara and thank you for your continued support. This journey is forever. The memories are all we have.
I cherish the memories, but I also have hope that we will be reunited again fairly soon.
We are on the same page, glad you are here Barbara.
Remembering the great events and hope to see your lost loved one once again is a great train of thought.
Thanks the memories are all I have to hold onto.
I know what you mean since the good days of living a simple life in Panama in the former Canal Zone were great.
Memories including memories of a loss are a valuable treasure to continue living, as well as a lesson that does not stop reminding us to be wise.
Thank you Albert, I knew you would agree. I am not staying in the past ( as I once did ), only reminiscing down memory lane.
In this body and mind, memory is something that can not be released, then it only needs to be addressed properly and as wisely as possible.
You are so right, and I am trying to do just that.
It’s a wise attitude to yourself, Carol.
Thanks Albert, appreciate you. 🙂
