Some religion require their faithful to do some sacrifices for the forgiveness of their sins. When I was young I had a strong belief in that. But now my faith has been wavering because I feel that I was born not to be punished or to make sacrifices but to enjoy life. God made this wonderful world for humans so let’s enjoy life to the fullest.

I have read about some of the sacrifices some make in the name of religion. I guess it has to do with how much you value your religious beliefs.
Interestng to read about other religions.
I’m a Christian I’m just not faithful, my friend
I didn’t vote as I am not a religious person and I have not sacrificed myself for any religion. I do learn Buddhism teachings and try to practice the Buddhism teachings too, I do not think those are sacrifices but good practices.
We shouldn’t make sacrifices that won’t edify us. Anything done for the good of the world and us is what pleases God. I pray and fast because it’s a communication between God and I, and I fast to accomplish something good (and to have perspective in life).
Whatever I do I do it for my peace
