This is a black and white study as a tribute to my friend Indexer, called sunrise at Coniston Water, taken 7 years ago of a lake in England’s largest national park, Lake District National Park. The park is also home to Scafell Pike, the country’s highest mountain, (878 meters)and Wastwater, its deepest lake, (260 feet.)

Thanks for commenting CoffeeQueen My son lived near there.
I love that photo, Andre. Alas, I’ve never been to the Lake District, but would love to.
