Macro Monday – the bee feeds and pollinates the rose

Bees are very beautiful, hardworking and useful insects. Their main feature is the adaptation to feeding on nectar and pollen, thus also feeding their larvae. For this purpose, they have special structures for carrying and storing pollen, most often in the form of specially formed hairs on the body. They play an important role in the ecosystem of pollinators and are also important for humans from this point of view. A bee is an insect with a complete transformation, which means that a larva develops from an egg, then a beetle, and finally an adult animal.
