The most difficult type of photography is taking a portrait. A good portrait is one that succeeds, by some clues, to suggest to the viewer the job that the subject has! I do take portraits too often, but when I have the chance to see something interesting, I try this kind of photography. This portrait I have taken during an action that took place in my town. The person in the photo would not be very happy if he knew I did this photo !! My challenge for you is to guess what might be the job of this person just looking this photo.

I am guessing that your subject is a teacher, Ileana. He is not wearing a uniform, and he is not wearing a business suit either. On the other hand he is not dressed shabbily. He looks clean. And you said you took the photo during an action (a demo?) and that he might not be happy if he knew you shot him. So I guess he was taking part in the action. All in all, I think I must be right that he is a teacher 🙂 Great photo, by the way!

I went with teacher since I know of a lot of teachers who look that way with the facial hair. The males one of course.
