Students of some States in India were allowed to give exams that were postponed due to Covid-19. It was a new normal. Students had to maintain social distancing and had to wear masks They were also tested before getting in.
Staying away from each other must have been difficult as I remember my school days how we would crowd together and discuss minutes before we walked into the exam hall.
We looked forward to the last day of school when the school gave us a ceremonial send off. We were so emotionally charged.
And to think that nothing of the kind will be there for these kids. They just part ways without even hugging each other. I feel for these kids.

My last day of grade school left me scared about going to high school and my last day of high school made me very sad that my teenage years were coming to an end.
I can understand that. I was so much in love with my school and then to suddenly grow up it was too much for me. But that is life.
My last day of school was like yours. In our country, too, students complete school in this way. They certainly won’t have a fond memory of the last day of school.
My heart goes out to the youngsters of today. There is so much more they cannot do.
I had a blur memory of the last day at school
My memories are vivd and crystal clear.
That’s so good, But I have memories of other days.
School days were the best part of my life.
This will be the new norm when school reopens. Less number of students, masks, hand sanitizers, and such.
What a devastating environment that will be for these poor kids.
