45 years ago my younger brother, who was fifteen years old back then, was trying desperately to get a report done on Wild Birds Of South-Africa written, he had been given three months to write it. Needless to say, he hadn’t done a thing and it was due the very next day.
We were camping out in our family caravan in the Kruger Nationalpark, and he was sitting at the table close to tears. He was surrounded by several piles of paper and pen’s and unopened books on wild birds, He was immobilized by the sheer immensity of the job ahead. My late father then came and sat down beside him, put an arm around his shoulders, saying, ‘You must simply do it bird by bird, kid. Just do it bird by bird.’

This was a good one. I remember many growing up I will share one day.
I can’t wait to hear them. 😉
I have kept journals all of my life and somedays I just take an hour and look for those special words. Thanks for the reminder.
Please share those gems with me I love reading about real-life stories. Those deep-set emotions are then released to trigger endorphins which in turn boost your Vagus nerve for improved cell-health 😉
