I can’t tell you how much a simple statement like that can mean. I was very nervous about the funeral and how things would go. Just before I walking up to the stand to deliver the eulogy, one of Bro’s friends reached from behind, gave my shoulders and whispered: “I’ve got your back”. It meant the world to me. At Mom’s funeral, my oldest brother said I was nothing but a spoiled brat and I walked out. I was terrified there would be a repeat. His words brought comfort.
I think “I’ve got your back” is a most meaningful statement. I appreciate it.
