It’s very early here and dark outside with loud claps of thunder that shake the house. I am tucked in bed and not anxious to check to see if we have are having a rainstorm with lightening or if we are having thunder snow.
We are prepared for a storm. The generators are all full of gas, the battery back ups are on the computer. I am tucked in bed with my tablet because hiding is what I do in this situation. I have earplugs in to try and stop the noise. This kind of noise and power gives me great anxiety. My family laughs at me and that’s alright. They don’t have my history.

I enjoy these types of storms if I am inside and there is no damage of course. Stay safe. I have seen snow storms predicted. We are still in the 90s here.
I am scared of thunderstorms.
I don’t mind thunderstorms. Sometimes they can be so loud, which I can understand can be a bit scary for people. I like watching the storms though.

But my dogs both hate them. My natural desire is to go to the room with the most windows and watch the pageantry of lightning.
Now because of the dogs, I go to the darkest room in the house and wait out the storm!
