Ghostwriter
It is something I have heard forever “If I had a dime for every time……” So we decided to play a game at work. We all brought three rolls of dimes. Then each of us picked an event or something people say at work all the time every day. Each time someone said it – everyone had to put a dime in your jar. At quitting time the one with the fullest jar got all those dimes and the remaining was split equally with all that played. It gave a whole new meaning to the phrase. We don’t play it every day and it is something to help the day be different when we do.

I’m retired now but we used to have rubber band wars when I was a computer programmer.
How about “If I had a dime for every time I had a dime…”.
