I have always had a hairstyle that you see in the photo. We have a beauty parlour close by and one of the girls from there would come over and attend to my hair.
Now with the pandemic I am not confident of calling them. There will be so many issues to deal with. I have therefore decided to grow my hair At this moment it looks shabby but anyway I am not unduly worried as we have no visitors nor am I going out
This seems to me to be part of a new normal for me.

That is a cute hair style! I am in the same boat as you are. My hair needs cutting but the salon I go to is now closed. She was opening up with one customer at a time but our state had to put a halt to opening more businesses up and I think she decided to just close up for the summer.

I keep my hair shoulder length and cut it myself and I have stopped coloring it so it is becoming snowy white slowly.

Back when Princess Diana had it in the ’80’s, it was fine then because it was the style. However, that was the hair style from 40 years ago. Now, it is the common hairstyle of the women being called “Karen” in the USA at this time because the outdated hairstyle matches up with their outdated stereotypes of people of different races.
I go for what is easy to manage and that which suits my face.
