I moved one of my hummingbird feeders so I can see it better. They seem to like it better as it is farther away from the other bird feeder. They can enjoy the nectar without interruption. Funny how territorial these tiny birds are. So fun to watch. I used to talk to my Dad a lot about hummers. We would share stories of how many we saw today and how they would fight for their territory. I miss my Dad so very much. Never take anyone for granted.
Getting good shots of hummingbirds takes a lot of time and patience. This was a quick shot right before it rained yesterday. Funny how one is hovering over the other. Sharing this photo with Kim’s August challenge Flora and Fauna.

We do not have a hummingbird, but we care about other bird species..Feeders are set up in parks..Especially care is taken over the winter to give birds shelters and food.
