This yam flower gave me the jitters when I saw it from a distance. It was on the ground and looked like a coiled snake from a distance.
I did not know yams have flowers that spring from the ground before plants show up. This was a new experience form. After calming down I rushed back and got my camera. Am I not happy that I captured it.
