Chris and his wife Hollie and their 3 years old son, Eleon have moved to an island called Smith Island situated in the Chesapeake bay area after getting an invite from one of their followers of their video channel called “The Chris & Hollie Show”where they share a multitude of handy tips and crafting ideas for all ages all of which have a central theme running through their entire show, being that of recycling and re purposing everyday objects.
Their YouTube channel draws thousands of followers every day and it was with this in mind, that I wanted to share them with my other family, the Virilians. Hollie’s favorite 2 crafts, are “tie-dyeing and scented candle making. Their videos are entirely unscripted as their followers seem to prefer the spontaneity of them.
If you enjoyed the video, as I did, kindly indicate so to the question below.
PS. Smith Island is world famous for its 10 layer cakes which are delivered anywhere on the planet!
This is a Great to See.
This sounds like an excellent idea. Enjoyed Andre!
ONCE AGAIN THE POLL QUESTION DID NOT APPEAR,SO, HERE IT IS AGAIN: Would you like more videos about Hollie and Chris’s crafting and re-purposing everyday discarded objects? Please answer below. Regards, Andre’
How interesting. A company that believes in recycling will also deliver cakes from one side of the planet to another? That sounds a bit contradictory to me in terms of ecological responsibility!
Yes John, I agree, but since the Smith Island Bakery has been a tradition, spanning several generations, they just stuck with their “age-old tradition of delivering their world famous “Smith Island 10 layered cakes” to any inhabited place on earth, PS. their cakes have been sent to some pretty unusual destinations. Chris and Hollie are newcomers to the Island and are only selling their re-purposed goods from the convenience of the bakery. Thanks for pointing it out.
Great idea to recycle more people should do it as a business..
I agree Pamela, I just felt it a great idea to feature them here on Virily where there are some very thrifty members.
