These are all I get to see these days – half hidden sunsets. So many new buildings have come up and blocked our view of the dawns and the sunsets. The ugly wires that crisscross the skyline and the monstrous buildings that come up everyday threaten to devour the skyline or what is left of it.
Yet, I stand there day after day on my terrace to get a glimpse of these glorious sunsets. My eyes are now trained s to ignore the ugly distractions and view only what is beautiful and magnificent. However my camera doesn’t do so, leaving me with the only option of cutting out all the unwanted bits and presenting to you a glimpse of a beautiful sunset.
Life too need to be looked at this way , don’t focus too much on the ugly bits focus on what is good , beautiful and glorious.

I can relate to your situation. But sometimes buildings and wires make it cozy and realistic. It depends on the photo.
Saw a beautiful sunset today and a full moon. Lovely photo.
Wow that is a double whammy, its raining here right now so no sunset or moonlight.
our deck faces the rising sun so every day I get to see the sunrise!
i am less likely to see the sunset, as it sets on the other side of the house with no windows!
We were able to see the sunrise from our porch last year and the sunset from our terrace until a few months ago.. now they have disappeared behind the concrete maze.
we have a small porch on the front of the house but the sunset is obscured by one of nature’s creations (a hill)!
I would love to takes pictures of the sun behind a hill. You could get some amazing shots. 🙂
houses on the hill block the sunset even more! I have to walk up the hill to see a pretty sunset
To me, the real sunrises and sunsets limit the mountains that are near me ……
Does that mean you can still see them? sunrises and sunsets on mountain tops are the most ideal scenes for me.
Unfortunately, I have similar problems seeing the sunset.

Two days ago, I was enjoying the sunset over the sea. I will go again today. There are at least no ugly wires, there are new buildings, but they do not interfere with the magical view.
