I wish this had been my idea or that I would have heard of it long ago because it seems like a great thing. I was at my neighbors and it was just about time for the children to get off the bus from school.
She said, “I have to grab my muffin tins.” I was confused.
She had a muffin tin for each child. In each tin there were different snacks in each well. Her choices were all healthy and she said that since they were ready and available the children like them. She served them with water that had lemons and cucumber slices.
It was not a lot of food, but a few “pick me up items” to tide them over. Here are a few options I can remember. Pickles, bite size cheese sticks, chunks of chicken, broccoli, small shaped grahm crackers, raspberries, radish chips, blueberries, and apple slices.

Just like in those 3 in 1 instant coffee cups.
It sounds like a good idea. I could not advise you about snacks an hour before sleep, myself I do not eat even 5-6 hours before sleep.
Sounds like a great and healthy idea!
It is a wonderful and very creative idea. Do you know what else you can do with muffin tins? I make very interesting egg muffins just egg, cheese, and some spices and bake them up like muffins
