Happy July 4th, the day the Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence, which Jefferson had written largely. The vote for actual independence took place on July 2nd, from then on the 4th became the day that was celebrated as the birth of American independence. On July 4, 1776, the 13 colonies claimed their independence from Britain, an event that eventually led to the formation of the United States. Each year on the fourth of July, also known as Independence Day, 🧾🗽🏛
I felt that an appropriate song to play would be BORN IN THE U.S.A. what would ultimately give Bruce Springsteen the nickname of “The Boss” a name he gained when he had collected his band’s nightly pay and distributing it amongst his bandmates. 💰💰💰

Yeah! great song great celebrations too, happy 4th, Carol
it took them two days to write out the declaration of Independence on the parchment to be sighed! I prefer June 19, 1865 as the first day of nearly independent America.
As long as it has a place in your heart, I reckon, is all that matters.
they both do, i just struggle with the founding fathers. Many of them owned slaves. One of them left his slaves in his will.
My big brother is a big fan of Bruce Springsteen… and I became a fan as well… and though, I have never set foot in the US, I love the song.
I like it too and I guess, it’s kind of like an American anthem too.
Yeah , this song really sound perfect
I’m glad you liked it WF, it was a toss-up between Footloose by Kenny Logins and This one.
