One of my favorite authors and speakers is Byron Katie. She has been through some rough times in her life and out of that came many gifts of wisdom that she willingly shares. It was probably not easy to admit that she spent years hiding in her bedroom. I am grateful she did, because what she learned is amazing.

As you may guess if you read what I write, this quote hits home. Sometimes I want to runaway and live with people who are healthy and not living on the brink of death. Clearly, I am here for a reason and there is something “for me” to learn. It’s not just them, they are teaching me things.
