Any fruit is first a flower.
Starting from this reality I thought it was interesting to start a photography project entitled “From flowers to fruits and seeds”.
Wild strawberry is a perennial plant of the genus Fragaria, family Rosaceae, which has edible fruits. The wild strawberry is famous for the very fragrant taste of small fruits, similar to strawberry. The fruits contain mucilages, pectins, carbohydrates and many vitamins( A, B1, B2, PP and C).
I like them more than the ones in the supermarket that have no taste. What about you?
“You can pick wild strawberries with your eyes closed, locating them by smell, for they are two parts perfume to one part taste. An hour of searching might yield a handful if you’re lucky. Wild strawberries can’t be encouraged, nor can they be discouraged: They come to you unbidden and unearned. They appear, or do not, by the grace of the sun.” Hope Jahren

This is a Great to See.
I have strawberries here and I am trying to have seedlings from the seed. But nothing appears yet.
I love both although a long time already did not try wild strawberries.
I have the Vilamet variety in my backyard.
It produces excellent, tasty and large fruits.
I have great memories of picking wild strawberries. Lovely photos.
