My dog, my wheelchair, my son took several years ago. Looking out over the St, Lucia lagoon at sunrise. I’m using an upgraded wheelchair since the photograph, my dog is still here and just as “underfed” as in the photo. St. Lucia is only a memory for me now and my son? Only a memory too… 78% of all adults that are reported missing in the world every year are never seen again…

That is so so sad the missing people. I hope one day they will be found.
That was a very sad post. Did something happen that you are in a wheelchair, like an accident?
Thank you for asking, yes my leg was amputated through diabetes. And my son just phoned 6 years ago to tell us that he is changing his name and has found a new family, brothers, sisters mom and a dad and he is cutting all ties with all of us and that was that..We don’t know if he is with a religious cult or anything. he is 34 years old.
I’m sorry to hear that. Fortunately, I haven’t experienced this yet. But I’ve been a widow for 20 years.
Oh my goodness! Vidocka, so sad to hear this my friend.?
Very sad to see the daily reports on the news of missing people. This is really heartbreaking.
We stay hopeful, Carol but we are realistic too and even though God has often intervened in impossible matters in my and my family’s lives, we know that we don’t always get what we want. 😉
That is for sure, we take when we get.
OH WOW! Never was a truer word spoken, it’so comforting just now.
???
We take what we get is what I should have said. No control over it. Make the best of it.
Oh that is sad. I imagine it is hard to heal with no closure.
That’s the whole problem, Gramps, the not knowing. Thank you for caring. ‘
