A good photographer captures the essence of things. Things that no one noticed. Things that even the subject has not noticed. For this, it is sometimes necessary for the photographer to rise above the crowd. I wonder what was the subject for this photographer? Who was mine can you see in the photo ….

I think my day was literally washed out.
Well yesterday was Friday the 15th and a very dark day in NZ history with the gunman killing 49 people in 2 Christchurch Mosques.
However, we are OK in Auckland but sad about it and sad for Christchurch.
I heard the news about that, Pamela and I’m sorry. There are many fanatics in this world. I’m glad you’re fine. Condolences for the families of the victims.?
Thanks Ileana, Now the count of dead are 50 victims. Yes, fanatics.
ohh yes Pamela, i have totally forgotten… sorry for your country, I will light a candle for the souls.
Friday for me was a black and white day since I received my new glasses.
Congratulations on your new purchase!?
Thank you Ileana for the kind comments.
i hope today (Saturday) you have a better a color.
Every year, March 15th is the hardest for me. If it were possible I could get it out of my calendar.
Thanks so much Mavic.
Do you have to walk groping on that black Friday?
Hey… That’s a cool image!
Over the time, I learned how to handle dark days. I have a reflective walking stick that shows my way on these days!
It’s nice to know that an engineer has such wisdom.
Just posted mine, yours is great, what a moment captured.
