Found my first Azalea bloom in the garden today. Have been watching the buds and knew the blooms would appear soon.
Such a nice color and these take me back to growing up. Our driveway was lined with these flowers.
Every Easter they bloomed and they were so beautiful. Good memories. Enjoy your day everyone.

“Spring shows what God can do with a dark and dirty world.” – Victor Kraft
Nature decided to get rid of the dirt this spring and now the beauty is coming out. Look at the flowers and birds in your garden they are indicators of that.
What a great quote. Thanks for sharing that one. Every day I see something new.
Beautiful blooms, once again my azaleas died in the heat.
Thanks Dawn, these only bloom in the spring.
I don’t think they are heat tolerant here either.
Hope springs eternal – each spring the rebirth of the world renews our the connection to the universe.
love the picture thank you!!!!!
Very true words Doc. Thank you for your support.
of course – it is an honor!
Lovely purple azaleas.
Thanks, I wish they lasted longer.
Such beautiful flowers, and I love the delicate color!
I have always loved the azaleas. Thanks Ellie.
So beautiful. Your driveway so meaningful, both physically and mentally for you can make sense of its presence while many others do not.
These flowers always bring back those wonderful memories. Albert, memories are what get me through life.
I know what memories mean to you, but I haven’t quite realized that azaleas are an important part of those memories. Now I understand it better.
I think most of what I see in nature can be linked to past memories.
What a beautiful flower. It’s my favorite color.
Thank you, it was always my Mom’s favorite as well.
