As you become more conscious of yourself and the world around you, you begin to notice beauty, joy and happiness hidden in the most simplest of things.
It’s easy to miss these things when you are lost in your mind or perhaps living a life of delusion. But once you become present even for a few seconds, a whole new world opens up to you. And when that happens, you start to find joy in the seemingly mundane things that you otherwise took for granted.
Even a simple activity like sitting in a garden, drinking coffee, watching the sunrise or reading a book can fill your senses with extreme joy and happiness.
Sharing a photo of Brendel relaxing in the screen room. More of the joy I find every day in the little things around me.

Staring at the night sky, I can understand what you mean. I’m loving this quote. They help to be conscious of the little things we don’t take notice of.
Brendel is the picture of perfect contentment.
I think so as well, she is my baby.
ok that picture just made me tired, i want to take a nap!
A cat’s life for me!
I know right! My cats remind me what is important in life. Relaxing.
Raven is asleep right now in the big chair in my office. Dylan is hiding in the far corner under my desk.
they are both asleep and i wish I was as well!
They like your desk, and being around you. Very cool.
yes they like their daddy’s office, it is safer and no windows
Oh Miss Brendel you look so sweet and pretty and relaxed and content. You made my day sweetie pie and you too Carol for posting such an adorable picture. My cat Runt would fall in love with Brendel I am sure if he wasn’t neutered (poor kitty). I enjoy watching animals and birds alike while either sitting in the living room facing the patio door or outside on the swing all the while sipping on a coffee. I rather enjoy my quiet life… Say hi to Brendel and the Dude for me please.
Thank you she says as she goes back to sleep. I love these photos of her. I too have a quiet life most of the time. Good to see you and I will say hi to both.
Brendel looks completely content and happy and made me smile
She is content most of the time and glad she brought a smile. 🙂
I find joy in seeing Brendel’s photos. Great message once again.
That makes me so happy. I appreciate your continued support.
Thank you! I always enjoy reading your posts and seeing your beautiful photography.
And I always enjoy yours as well. 🙂
I agree with you. I am very happy with a cup of coffee on my terrace.
Thanks. I also enjoy my coffee in the screen room.
