Our village has a campaign on the trash issue. Aside from the littering and improper disposal of trash, we are being encouraged to recycle stuff like plastic and glass that can still be re-used. The trick is to segregate the trash in each category so that recyclable materials can be brought to the recycling center.
In the picture is the new trash can provided by the village where we can put the recyclable materials that they will pick up for our convenience. I just hope that they will somehow compensate the residents who follow the segregation methods to at least have something for a consolation to the effort. If there is nothing for the residents then we might not be encouraged to cooperate.
