Here’s another song named after a woman that I’d like to share.
According to the composer, Sinatra recorded a demo of this song and sent it to Elizabeth Taylor for her birthday.
Yesterday, some people said they weren’t able to listen to the song “Maria”; let’s hope that YouTube won’t fail me again.

I haven’t heard this song yet even though I know a lot of Sinatra’s songs.
I am glad I was able to introduce a new song here.
The video weren’t great. I can never get one to work in a poll.
Do you mean embedding them or playing them in the post? If embedding, you can try another browser, or copy the link that the “share” button on YouTube generates instead of the one in the address bar.
it is interesting – that world that is now gone Hollywood of the 50s and 60s. I had heard this song many years ago (my Aunt is a huge Sinatra fan)!
It really is a song that can make you travel back in time.
She (Elizabeth Taylor) really transcended her youth. She was in a movie called Black Beauty that i can not watch to this day. I’ve seen it four times and break down crying each time.
I haven’t seen it but I can imagine the impact it has. Good movies just make us feel the story.
she did so many movies that were just beyond amazing.
I did not know this song. The picture is just incredible by the way.
Thank you! The picture is not mine this time, it’s from pixabay.
The video worked this time. Although I have heard many Sinatra songs, I have never heard this song
Glad to hear that I was able to introduce a new song. I wish someone wrote a song for me too, haha.
This is one song I have never heard before.
