Dusty Miller is grown primarily for its attractive silver-gray foliage rather than its yellow flowers. In fact, most gardeners prefer to cut off the flowers to encourage leaf growth. Dusty Miller is a nice addition to a colorful container garden, and makes a nice edging for your borders.
I was first attracted to this plant for its name, very close to Dustin. Turns out to be a great addition to my garden.

I’ve seen these in gardens but I had no idea what they were called. Dusty Miller seems appropriate although it also sounds like a baseball player.
Yes and did you know they have yellow blooms?
The name reminds me of my son Dustin of course.
I’ve never seen one with flowers. Next time I’m at a garden shop, I’m going to pick one up.
I have not heard of this plant yet … there is something similar in our country, but I do not even know what it’s called
You might have them ini your world, not sure my friend.
I think i saw this plant in the city gardens and flower beds. I love plants like this!
They are common in some borders. Thanks!
I adore his leaves. They are like green soft and gentle codifes.
Yes they feel very soft. And they bloom!
sounds like the girl next door
I got curious…. dusty miller (n.)
common name for auricula, 1825, so called from the powder on the leaves and flower; millers, by the nature of their work, being famously dusty.
one wonders if they knew enough to wear masks, or if the flower was safe to breathe
For the first time I hear about this flower … it’s really wonderful
It is not even well known in the US, I recently discovered it, thanks!
It’s a nice and different plant. There are several types of plants like that in my city even though some of them are already invisible.
And it is very soft Albert. Just a great plant.
I look like that, it looks soft like succulent leaves too.
Yes it is soft like lamb’s ear plant.
I love this leaf, looks very beautiful.
They really stand out in the garden.
