This is Zoe, she is a year and two months old. She is the baby of the house and she constantly demands that we play with her.
This silly little girl walks around with her favorite squeaky toys in her mouth all day long. Her current favorite is a sheep, which she wont let go and insists that she hold it in her mouth even when she goes out for a walk. I have to be very firm with her and won’t put her on the leash until she drops it down. This drama that goes on thrice everyday.
Her toys are scattered all around the house and she won’t put them back in place. She cries like a little baby if any of her toys somehow hide under the furniture and she can’t reach them. She refuses to stop crying until we fetch it for her. (she whines like a real baby)
Zoe’s doggy bed is almost always littered with her toys. If she has forgotten some toy and remembers it at night she goes down to the ground floor to fetch it before she goes to sleep.
Promptly in the morning she brings them all back making as many trips to the first floor to rescue her toys. It is almost like having a toddler in our home. Spark our older dog is a dignified being. He never makes a fuss, nor does he play with toys anymore. Possibly because Zoe would snatch it away from him.
All my time is spent meeting her demands. LOL

I can imagine zoe wandering the house squeaking and demanding human attention!!!
True it is like reliving those days with my toddlers. Lol Zoe is so full of life and lives up to her name.
It is funny, but now that you have the experience you are more able to respond!
That is true, But now I am a stricter, wiser and more consistent in disciplining kind of parent LOL
before I had children I was a school teacher, I always told my wife, be fair but be consistent with discipline.

True fairness is as important as consistency. We cannot bully them just because they are small.
Our pets are really like children. They require just as much attention.

She’s so adorable! I don’t have a pet anymore for now.
A pet is a huge responsibility. I cannot go on a holiday at all because of my pets.
Lol, now that is a baby who has learned how to walk. She doesn’t get tired which is a common feature of a dog.
Luckily, I will have a dog later this year.

I had a canary but it died. I don’t have a pet at the moment.
