While out yesterday enjoying the sunshine and running errands I stopped by the park to visit my friend Cotton, the owl. The state park rescued her about a year ago as she was abandoned in the snow. She seemed fine, not looking at my camera. I was surprised to see there are now two owls. In the habitat next to hers was a little owl. Not sure of her/his name. Looks like she cannot blink her right eye. Sad but thank goodness the park rangers rescued her and are taking care of her/him. Updates soon hopefully as I try to find out the story and name. They are both called barred owls.

If only I have a place where I can keep these injured animals.
Beautiful picture-looking at you as I would know you
Wow. Look at her Carol. Her eyes are like saying something to you.
I know Albert, we stared for a few minutes. It was incredible.
There is a guy that goes around rescuing dogs all around Taiwan. Whenever I watch his videos, I’d feel happy. Some of the dogs that he rescued were on the brink of death, some have injuries that would eventually take their lives. But there are times when he arrived, the dog is dead already. He would help bury the corpse, if he could.
Its good to see the rescued dogs playing/run around happily in his next videos. Definitely a good things to see animals being rescued.
How special. You know it takes a certain kind of person to do this. Good to be reminded there are still good people in this world of evil. Thank you for sharing.
I love them.
While I was in the zoo for some time I sat on a stone in front of one owl and I told her something about two three minutes.
And she looks at me and does not blink.
Then I went away fearing that other visitors would think I was crazy.
And I like to talk to birds, I do not care what they do not understand.
I hope you understand me.
Wow that owl was listening to you Robin. I don’t care what others think of me any more. I talk to all of the animals. 🙂
